Sorry to here that you have to work Phil , is it to much trouble to give us a few mud maps on prospective areas around Moina to try out , I know that the confluence of Bell , poverty and mosquito creeks is not bad , I would like to have a look around narrawa creek but thats under lease at the moment so I might email them to see if we can get permission to have a look there cheers starry

Narawa creek is as rich in diversity as the weld river or ring river, perhaps 80% of the later. i know exactly where to go. but again they (Frontier resources) are doing extensive ground work in that area and getting ready to open up stormont. They are easily the best prospecting outfit in Tas and we are very lucky to have them looking. in my opinion. They will also be doing work at the southern end of the west coast range and some north of corinna. Later on.. the resource at stormont is proven, but fine stockwork and limited at depth. But they are not just targeting Gold. Molybdenum, Tin, Tungsten, Arsenic, Lead, Zinc, and niobium and Yttrium. www.frontierresources.com.au/assets/Quarterly_Report_2011.7.29_Final.pdfThis is an awesome report on the narrawa area. IP, ground sample, rock chip, C horizon, Drill , magnetics, Dipole you name it. all compiled better than any exploration report, i have ever seen and matches what i experience on dolcoath to a tee.

The best area in Bell Mountain is Bell Creek itself up to and including the pond on the lease, and around the junction up on the hill in the trenched out areas to the NW of the junction. About half way up the and 150 meters north or so. their is a shaft that intersects a deep lead. i found no minerals in a 100kg sample of the bottom. But unworked deep leads do exist on the field. I have found a few one gramers in Mosquito creek, the one the dirt road crosses next to the junction.

here you go guys have had return email from Torque Mining the letter is as follows , should make it a good weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Mick, You are more than welcome to carry out small scale prospecting actiivities in the Narrawa Creek arae over that weekend so long as all of your activities are in accordance with Mineral Resources Tasmania's rules for prospectors and not create any environmental disturbance or damage to the mining heritage which might be attributed to us. We will possibly have a drill rig operating in the area at that time. Your party should ideally stay clear of this but if necessary to come close please abide by all OH&S instructions given by the driller at the time. We would be very interested in any thing you may uncover which we would like the opportunity to photograph and/or record details.

if ever you get the chance.
The other end of the lake has a cottage down on the left before the gate with the most impressive views of Mount Stormont and the lake itself. on a broody day, its breathtaking.
