there is gold on both sides, but a lot easier to find on the wynard side,look for the purple house, across from there is the track to the gold. ;D

Does anyone really know where the gold comes from at Doctors Rocks? I've heard a multitude of stories from reefs at sea, the old Arthur river used to flow though there, even to "it just comes from the hills"!

Yeah I've been skeptical I've the reef at sea theory. Would have thought someone would have had tried to find it by now? You would also think if it was the case it wold be scattered along the entire coast. Moving with tides, current and weather. Any way it's there and that is what matters.

The Daisypop Gold Prospect 2011 (4.5minutes) www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIeDvBmp_ts"a recently re-discovered section of the Harrigan cove Anticline and subordinate bedding concordant quartz veins in slate beds, these quartz veins in slates have kicked Gold in recent sampling. The main body is 190 ft long; 40ft wide and 12 feet exposed above sea level! making a monster of a vein which is most likely the nose of a chevron style fold axis. Hi there is a place i have been trying to find for years Chinamans Creek on the way to the Pieman but can not find it for the life of me. so if anyone has been there or can show me how to get there this would be great. Cheers Simmo

still trying to find that old map mate but it eludes me , it could be in Sydney with the cousin , he may have packed it with his stuff last time he was here as he comes down a couple times a year to prospect with me , i,ll see if I can turn up another one and if so i,ll scan it and email it to you cheers starry
