Hi all, this is a comprehensive list of most recorded Tasmanian mines and areas looking for mine acid leach and the base geochemistry of the areas. i use it as a tool to locate highly mineralized areas, the base metallic levels are down the bottom and include grid references to within 10cm. www.mrt.tas.gov.au/pls/portal/docs/PAGE/MRT_INTERNET_PAGE_GROUP/MRT_GEOLOGICAL_INFORMATION/MRT_GROUNDWATER/MRT_ACID_DRAINAGE/UR2001_05_APPENDICES_0.PDFit doesnt have Au or Ag, but indicators like Arsenic, Ph and the sulphides help. Its easily the most comprehensive base testing of our mines, so worth a look. Some of the figures around known major mines like Renison is quite staggering. Im neither pro and anti mine acid. I have had lead poisoning at Tullah from Natural run off. and accidently eaten elemental Arsenic myself. So know its not always the mines fault.
