souns like a good time besides the rough weather, I wish i had of found this site earlier I would of been there for sure, i only live at Sheffield. Nice find Mike shows there is definitely gold to be got if you put in the work, cant wait till i see my first tassie speck. I'm at the next meet up for sure.

hi mike, great read. glad u & carrol had some luck after all that drama imagine how much u might have panned had u had 3 full day's. by the sound of it i did the right thing pulling the pin early friday or me my roof/t tent & trailer could be in a tree somewhere by now. look foreward to meeting u guy's next time. begards billy.

fantastic write up Mike. TY Im just thankful you guys are all safe. I was stuck at the 2 trees and broke the bottom limb of the first to get in and it just howled and it was raining timber. deadly stuff. I have never been so terrified in the bush. Simon is the guy i lived and worked with for a decade or more. He is a hard working chef. I took rope. My 3 vintage saws are all cactus Very glad your all okay, Love Phill
